For dogs 5 months and older

Whether you have an adolescent dog who’s suddenly distracted by molecules, have recently adopted an adult dog, or have an older dog who you’d like to continue to strengthen your bond with, we’re here to help!

We offer training for:

Group Classes

We are taking a short break from offering group classes as we transition to new class formats and locations. Please select from our one-on-one training options below, or sign up for our mailing list to receive updates.

Private Training

Packages include written homework and email follow-up, as well as a discount on follow-up sessions. Individual sessions are available for new clients who want to determine if we are a good fit for you, as well as those with training experience who want to focus on specific behaviors.

Sessions are 50 minutes and are held in person ($125) or via video ($115).
In person lessons are held at our facility in West Laurel, or in-home within a 20 minute radius of Laurel.

    College (Virtual Package)

    Ideal for adolescent/adult dogs in need of basic manners training (i.e. sit, down, coming when called, go to bed, no jumping, etc.). Virtual training is convenient and enhances the bond between you and your dog.

    Pro (In Person Package)

    Like our College package, build a solid foundation in basic manners training, and we come to you for all sessions. In person training allows us to teach your dog the behaviors and then transfer those skills to you.

    MVP (Combo Package)

    Build your foundation via convenient virtual training and then put that training to work in settings with distractions. In person coaching as you add distraction allows you and your dog to build strong skills for the “real world”.

Behavior & Aggression Issues

Did you know that behavior problems are common in dogs? Recent studies estimate 75% of dogs have behavior issues as reported by their owners(1). Living with your dog’s fear, anxiety, stress, or aggression can lead you to feel frustrated or helpless, which is why we want to help you understand and address your dog’s behavior.

Our behavior training is appropriate for dogs exhibiting noise sensitivity, fear, compulsive behaviors, overarousal, predatory behavior, reactivity, and aggression (for separation anxiety, please visit our resources page).

Our new client behavior package includes:
✦ One 60 minute introductory video call, during which we obtain a full history, develop a management plan, and teach you behaviors that will be helpful immediately
✦Three 50 minute in-person training sessions
✦A full review of your intake form and veterinary records prior to our first session, written reports after each session, and email follow-up throughout
